What product and finance teams ask before integrating.
01Do we need to build an integration?
Only if you want payouts inside your product. The API gives you programmatic batches and webhooks, but many platforms start with monthly CSV uploads, with no engineering work, and move to the API later.
02What about creators who aren't registered yet?
Include them in the batch anyway. They get an email to create and verify their Zexel Pay account, and their payout is released as soon as verification is complete. Your team doesn't have to chase anyone.
03Can creators without a company get paid?
Yes. Our KYC is designed for the creator economy: individual creators without a registered company, freelancers and registered companies all verify through the same flow, and we apply the right tax treatment to each.
04How does accounting work on our side?
You get one invoice per batch and make a single payment. Instead of reconciling hundreds of individual transfers and collecting creator invoices, your books show a single supplier line.
05Who is the creator's legal counterparty: us or Zexel?
Zexel. We operate as a creator agency: Zexel contracts the creator directly, the creator invoices us, not you, and we pay them, taking on full tax responsibility (withholdings, reporting...). Your team receives a single consolidated invoice per batch. This keeps you out of the contractual chain with each individual creator, and that is what sets us apart from a simple payment processor.
06How long do creators take to get paid?
Verified creators usually get paid within 0 to 2 business days after the batch is released, by bank transfer or PayPal, in their local currency.
