01Who is the legal counterparty to each creator — us or Zexel?
Zexel is. Once a creator is onboarded, they invoice Zexel — not your agency — and Zexel pays them under our payments-institution license. Your agency receives one consolidated invoice per client or campaign and stays out of the contractual chain with each individual creator. That is what makes this a true merchant-of-record service and not just a payment processor.
02Can invoices and reporting be split by client and campaign?
Yes. Every payout is tagged by client and by campaign, so a batch collapses into a single consolidated invoice you can pass straight to that client. Dashboards and audit-ready exports are available per client at any time, which keeps both your books and your clients' reconciliation clean.
03How do approvals work across our team, finance and the client?
Multi-level sign-off with roles and permissions. A typical flow routes a batch from the account manager to finance, with optional client approval before release. Once everyone has signed off, one click triggers every payment — and the full approval trail stays attached to the batch.
04Which taxes and reports do you actually file across countries?
Withholding (IRPF in Spain and equivalents across PT, FR, IT, DE), VAT / IVA reverse-charge where applicable, DAC7 reporting for EU platforms, W-9 and 1099-K for US payees, and KYC / AML on every recipient. We file directly with the tax authority, so your team never touches a form.
05Can creators without a company on our roster get paid?
Yes. Zexel pays individuals without a registered business, freelancers and registered companies alike — most of whom aren't VAT-registered. Onboarding analyzes each creator's tax situation and applies the right treatment automatically, so a mixed roster is never a blocker.
